About Sam
Sam is from Nigeria and came to Mali in 2021 with a calling to bring Christ to the Hassaniya people. Sam brings experience in youth ministry and discipleship to the team. He is also skilled in photography, videography, and graphic design. Along with the rest of the team, Sam’s focus is building relationships with local people, and sharing the gospel with them. He is also responsible for documenting and creating media about the team’s activities.

About Yazid
Yazid came to Mali from India in 2018. He is the leader of the Mali team and is responsible for initiating ministry projects and planning visits to villages in the surrounding area. Yazid has experience in leadership and discipleship, along with formal training in teaching English and cross-cultural acquisition. He has felt called to bring Jesus’ name to the unreached since he was 15 and is excited to be serving in a role where he can do that.

About Zaki & Chinwe
Zaki and Chinwe, along with their two children, came to Mali from Nigeria in 2019. As a family, they feel called to be a witness for Christ to unreached people. Zaki brings his experience as a pastor and in discipleship to the team, where he serves as the personnel coordinator. Alongside the rest of the team, Zaki and Chinwe focus on building relationships with local Hassaniya people and planting a church in the region.

About Lilian
Lilian arrived in Mali from India in 2023 with a deep commitment to reaching the unreached. She brings a wealth of experience in church planting, youth, and children’s ministry. Passionate about personal evangelism and discipleship, Lilian is also skilled in creative arts, which helps her engage with children. Her role, alongside the rest of the team, centers on fostering relationships with local communities and sharing the gospel with those who have not yet heard.

About Niakali
Niakali is a healthcare professional from India. After completing her General Nursing Management (GNM) in 2006, she worked for seven years in the Intensive Care Unit at a hospital in Kolkata. Since August 2014, Niakali has served as a missionary nurse and was sent by the Baptist Church of Mizoram. In 2024, she joined the team in Mali and is excited to blend her medical expertise with a deep commitment to community service and spiritual care.
